We are seeking a Scientist to join our Cell Therapy Group. 

In this team, you will play a crucial role in advancing our cell therapy projects, utilizing your expertise in laboratory techniques, large data analysis, immunology, molecular biology, and cell biology.

As a Scientist in the Cell Therapy Group, you will be responsible for driving research and development efforts forward by taking initiative and demonstrating leadership to ensure the successful achievement of project goals. Responsibilities include planning, conducting, and continuously optimizing laboratory experiments related to cell therapy. The role also involves performing secondary analyses of large datasets, including RNA sequencing data. Immunological techniques will be applied to study cell interactions and immune responses in detail. This position requires close collaboration with cross-functional teams to advance project milestones effectively. The successful candidate will also be responsible for documenting and clearly presenting research findings to both internal and external stakeholders. The role encompasses planning, executing, and overseeing laboratory work.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Ph.D. or M.Sc. in Immunology, Molecular Biology, Cell Biology, or a related field.
  • Extensive experience with wet lab techniques and protocols.
  • Experience in cell therapy research or related fields.
  • Proficiency in large data analysis.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills, critical thinking, accuracy, and attention to detail.
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Ability to produce clear and accurate documentation in English.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively.
  • Ambitious personality with a strong drive to excel in research and development.
  • Enthusiasm for science.

Preferably, you would have in-depth knowledge of immunology, be familiar with bioinformatics tools and software for secondary data analysis, be proficient in scientific communication, and have experience in cell therapy research or related fields.

What We Offer:

This is a full-time, permanent position (37.5 h), with a preferred start date in the beginning of August or by agreement. Our work is driven by project demands, occasionally requiring evening and weekend work. The salary for this position depends on the candidate’s previous work experience, responsibilities, and skills, with the starting salary for the Scientist position typically being €3000, but higher based on a more extensive background.
